Last week our Steel City 3rd Graders started their big IREAD assessment! Coach Kelly has done the most incredible job pouring into them with rigorous literacy instruction, love, accountability and discipline. On test day, students enjoyed a team breakfast, great music and special words of encouragement from their parents in the form of good luck letters! Yesterday our 3rd graders celebrated the end of IRead testing with a field trip to the Challenger Learning Center to participate in the Engineering EDVentures course 🔭 During this hands-on STEM lab, our students learned how real world engineers develop their creations, and how they use the scientific process to test them.
